"Is that loose? Or is it me fingers going in and out?"

I have that exact paranoia about my left incisor!

Still, 31 and not a filling yet.

The 'radical poetry' episode was definitely my favourite out of the bunch of tapes my Hancock-loving ex lent me (no selective quoting, please), especially as there was one bit that's a clear precendent to Vulva's wonderful "It's not finished........it's finished." in the first series of Spaced.

This lovely documentary.

I've met quite a lot of famous people, and I'm usually quite cool and detached about it, giving the impression I've never heard of them before, but there have been two occasions when I've been reduced to fawning fanboy. These were: meeting Ingrid Pitt, and meeting Galton & Simpson.

Interesting watching this: Hancock, uptight, insecure, nervous, always playing a role, and Sid James, totally at ease with himself. But Sid absolutely adored Hancock, loved him like a brother. You can see it in his eyes in the clip at the end of Part 3, and hear it in his voice throughout.
