Has anyone had any experience of those CD repair services that purport to remove scratches from the surface of a CD or DVD by skimming a few microns of plastic off the playing side?
I have a fairly rare CD that has been damaged in the post and I'm considering using someone like http://www.cd-repair.co.uk to fix the problem. I understand that there are some alternatives including the use of Brasso, etc but I'm not confident doing it myself so any reports of experiences, both good or bad gratefully received. Many thanks.
