besides having the best name of any label ever (except possibly poker flat - best label name thread anyone? room tone?) rectangle was a wonderful label approximately 1999-2002.
they went off when they started releasing CDs in my humble opinion.
Noël Akchoté's first solo LP 'Pictures' is a classic. It's the best solo guitar record. Believe it or not I've never listened to the record's dedicatee, but whoever this French guy is he ASSAULTS his guitar like a victim.
