Apparently this is a key determinant of your earnings.

But as there is no real way of measuring it, it is difficult to say.

Also doesn't this raise some problems regarding women earning less than men?

Fertility: This feature only applies to women...

Surely in a culture that places great importance on fertility, male fertility is as important as female? I mean, one is pretty much useless without the other. (Tsk - breeders, eh? ;))

Edit: from that paper - "...and women’s ability<SUP> </SUP>to produce babies is a unique skill." Hahaha, "skill"? As opposed to "basic biological function"?

Also isn't this just another way of saying that people who are attractive are more successful (and vice versa).
