This is probably as futile as attempting to compile a definitive Billy Childish discography, but on the off-chance...does anybody have a clue where I might be able to obtain a list of complete Despite TV video productions?

There's a site called Spectacle Productions that has a list of DTV DVDs, some of which are 'best ofs', but I'd love to get hold of a complete catalogue, for a number of reasons. I was surprised to see they're still going (seems like they've done loads of stuff on the Marsh Farm Estate in Luton over the past few years), and there's some bits on Youtube (Poll tax documentary, interview with Jah Wobble, interview with some witch in Clapham). Does anybody know when they actually started up, or any of the people who were behind it? Or was Despite TV just an umbrella moniker for a load of different independent video-makers?

I think Fabian from the LPA was involved in some capacity or perhaps worked with them.

There's an intro here: http://www.spectacle.co.uk/projects_page.php?id=46

So, started in 1982!

Oo get in touch with Mark Saunders - his number is on the Spectacle site... My relevant claim to fame is that I did the graphics for 'Exodus from Babylon'

Ah...so I missed the page that had their full list of releases, thus wasting everyone's time....
But cheers John and Betty. Betty, how did you get involved? Was it a fairly large group of people?
