Why is this such an obscure record? Alternating laid back, floating textures with menacing mood swings and growling electric piano, this is a real keeper and definitely plugs a gap somewhere in the mystical plains of Kodwo Eshun's black futurist bullshit.

Found it via an archived conversation between Woebot and Kirk Degiorgio. Google for that.

yeah this is dope, really great synth work. you might want to have a listen to invitation to openness as well. the review here pretty much sums my thoughts up on it. as you can see it's from the same label a year earlier.

i don't know if it's underrated... it's been a beatdigger's favorite b/c of the drums and textures on it since the early 90's and there are def vinyl reissues from the mid to late 90's floating around...

i haven't pulled it out for a while, i should revisit it this week... i remember liking it, but not being blown away...
