does spdif have different sized connections? my lead doesn't fit, the spdif input fits RCA cables though!

i'm trying to go from my mpc digital out into this

but my coaxial cable doesn't fit. is that a toslink input?

Spdif works on optical cables as well. But of course your pic looks just like an RCA socket, which it must be as it looks just like the audio outs. Weird, not sure why you'd have a problem with the cable...

You've got RCA digital output on the back the MPC? And an RCA cable with plugs on either end yeah?

yep. i have rca digital out on the mpc and i thought i would be able to use this cable

it's too big to go all the way inside (fits fine on the mpc though), it does work on other rca in/outs which aren't buried within casings. i thought this would be a no brainer. :eek:
