This would all be easier for me if I wasn't so shit at maths, still don't 100% get stuff like Bayes' theorem.

A combination of all of these - the title of that website seems to chime with my mentality, for sure! Regarding Bayes' theorum... I had to look it up, but it seems that it's just conditional probabilities, which may seem complicated at first glance, but once you get your head round the notation, it's very simple. It's not an idea which can be comprehended mentally in an easy way though. That is, unless you happen to be autistic and mathematically gifted!
