My friend's laptop is suffering from a virus called System Tool, seems that this page here should get rid of it

problem is we can't get it into safe mode - possibly because her computer is a Spanish one with various operating systems which you have to select from a menu at the start and we can't seem to override this menu using f8. My question to you is - is there any other way to get it into safe mode? Alternatively, if not, what will happen if we just start the computer normally and download the System Tool killer thing?

Can turn naughty
might be worth dl'ing hiren's boot disc, booting into the mini windows xp that comes with it and trying to run the fix through that. just had to do something similar and used this method yesterday
