There's a great interview with him here :

Love And Dancing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_and_Dancing): Available in charity shops everywhere, and AMAZING.

Less fashionably, I love The Stranglers.

Futhermore, the more fucked things get, the more DJs of the Apocalypse need to invest in GOLD like this.

RIP Mr Rushent.

Liking the Stranglers should be fashionable -at their best they're bloody brilliant - Strange Little Girl, No More Heroes, that one in French....

Rushent produced the first 3 LPs. I am particularly fond of Black and White.

Apparently my dad considered buying a house in Chiddingfold next door to the one the group lived in in the mid-70s. Jet Black might have dandled me on his knee...

RIP. Heartened to see the amount of respect and recognition Rushent has been getting right now, though.

He was and is a constant inspiration. I'm very sad he died, he was meant to be doing a new version of 'Love And Dancing'. I want to know whether he completed any of it.

This was one of my favourites by him :

and the intercontinentalballisticmix, love the way it starts halfway through the song. Template for so many other songs, including Sigue Sigue Sputnik's career :
