Anyone else go to MUTEK this year?
I'm probably biased - I played it for the first time this year - but I think it was one of the better recent ones. That said, I didn't really make any big discoveries like in past years.
The Amon Tobin show was amazing, but he's not exactly a fresh up-and-comer. Same for Pezzner, who was great, as ever.
Loads of reviews online but here's one of a few I did for the Bass Music blog. The XLR8R one is pretty comprehensive as well.
