There is nothing like discussing music over a beer in the real world

That is all I have to say really

i'm stating the obvious here but this is what also sucks about the disappearance of record stores: the occasional chat with shop staff or fellow shoppers that leads to new discoveries. ok, it's minus the beer part, but still.

The long suffering Ms Five is regularly board to tears by the importance of Chicago and the wonders of the nuum.

Great patience.

Exactly. When I was getting into underground music I lived in a small town and didn't know anyone I could talk to about this stuff, but I could go on dubstepforum or wherever and talk with like-minded individuals. Having said that, a decent conversation beats internet discussion any day of the week
