I'm gonna be dj-ing at this event which promises to be fun (unless it rains) from about three I think.
Crafternoon Tea Club's ‘FASH MASH! festivalette’ is a drop in, pop up party on Dalston Roof Park which will be transformed into a DIY mini-festival with craft, fashion, DJs and a festy BBQ to boot!
Our FASH MASH! festivalette is a key highlight of CREATE11, a summer arts festival for East London, celebrating the intrinsic creativity of the area.
You are invited to dive into our mountain of unwanted clothes and we will work with you to transform these pre-loved articles that could have otherwise ended up in a landfill into DIY individualised fashions - it’s all instant accessible stuff and anyone can do it!!
Crafternoon will bring the customising kit and raw materials to help mash the fash, however, please bring your own cast-offs too - any no longer needed items from t-shirts to home-wares (think lampshade hats!).
Musical mash up supplied by Gaggle DJs, and Curious People!!
We will also have a photo booth and more of our infamous games including the 'catwalk fash off' and 'personal stylist' …and best of all, everything can be taken away at the end FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!
