Chez Damier & Chris Duckenfield 'The Idiots Are Winning' 1st birthday party @ Life, 2-4 Old Street, London EC1V 9AA, Friday 4th November
'The Idiots' have reached the grand old age of 1, but we are determined not to grow up just yet.
We've had some great moments over the past year, too many to list, my personal highlight being catching Timmy the Bouncer busting some moves on the dancefloor at the end of the last party. (You know your party has got the right vibe when your bouncers' biggest worry is keeping in time with the tunes!)
We've also been priviledged enough to book some top guests to play at our little basement session and this time is no different as we welcome Chicago (and Detroit!) favourite, Chez Damier.
We must say (with great understatement!) we're pretty happy about welcoming Chez to the 'Idiots'. Anyone who has listened to house music that originated from either Chicago or Detroit (who hasn't?), will be without doubt, familiar with his work whether they knew it was him or not!
As per usual, you won't find us using reams of biogs to big this up so if you don't already know who these lot are, you need to question your own party credentials, not theirs...

As you know, Life is a small space so we're trying to make it a little easier by selling a limited number of advance tickets through our friends over at R$N. Ticket sales link here:

We'll still be allowing people in on the door but we'd strongly recommend buying tickets if you're coming a long way.

- The music goes on till 5, as does the bar
- There's space for about 125 of you and your crew
- Tickets are £7 plus bf / Door is £7 before 12, £10 thereafter
