Hey all, I came across several types of what some called Disko but what sounds like aspects of Techno to me, but none the less i can dig, its like funky soulful techno.

Looking for more similar sorta sounds.

Sure there is Theo Parrish and Moodymann and the lot, love them, but there must be more, a lot more space aged and lot less preachy. :cool:

I think Works 2005-2009 covers most of his best work. He did release an album of originals (no edits) last year, but I haven't heard that.

Got this off 10 years of Secretsundaze, What an amazing compilation! has anyone been to their parties? this is outstanding, cant believe i have never come across them earlier.

Also talking over ever evolving track just has way of driving me mental!

another good example in my opinion although it sounds a bit dated and bit to noisy for the sounds discussed on this thread

just got into Metro Area after watching the Morgan Geist & Darshan Jesrani RBMA lectures on a whim. reeeeally really dig the s/t. great b-sides too.

Check out the 'Sound Stream' stuff - the best examples aren't on Youtube. He's a really great producer.

Morgan Geist/Metro Area/Storm Queen is great. Most of his stuff leans towards the more classic disco sound though.

just as an aside - both the guys from metro area have rbma lectures worth watching
