just to continue the houston/screwed&chopped theme.

it's possible to find screwed&chopped dancehall. anyone seen screwed grime anywhere? I'd love to hear that ...

I tried a bit of this last week after Pearsall's codeine-ified blog post (http://onepearsallandhistunes.blogspot.com/2005/04/codeine-ified.html) and the results were mixed. Here's a clip (http://www.rhizomatic.org/dissensus/hectorsub.mp3) of the 'Pow' Hector mix pitched down and running at 70/140 bpm. Nothing to write home about but there's potential in it.

I'd like to hear that Dizzee track.

slowing the tune down is one thing. chop-chop-chopping the vocals is what makes it special...

These are interesting ... I'm hearing the mixed results feeling though. what I'd really like to hear is more R&G type stuff given the treatment, "So Sure" or a tune like that. could turn out nice I think. I'm not the guy to do it though unfortunately at least not right now.
