completely guilty of ignoring this band. actually knew the music when i woz growing up - but always felt seemy and forbidding (great!!!) should have put "Black and White" in my lost 70s book...

JJ Burnel is one of my favorite bassists. Completely unique sound. So treble-y, aggressive and groovy. Played through a guitar amp, if I remember rightly. I love when bassists (and musicians in general) break all the rules and succeed.

What a great band.
