This sort of "consulting the Dissensian powers that be" thing strikes me as threadworthy. A bit tricky, though, as it will eventually grow too unwieldy for potential helpers to sift through.
How about an Inspector Gadget style self-destruct clause? If you receive the help you need, please delete your post. If your query doesn't get answered within a month, please delete it.
