I think the interesting thing to see now is if music responds to this time of unignorable political and social disaster. Is a political musical movement even possible any more? I dunno.

I want to be clear here. I'd rather have a fair, peaceful world than exciting music!

exciting music would be good. i wonder if a lot of artists are too depoliticised to make anything good. or is that incredibly condescending and cynical?

id settle for music that just taps into the mood. though im not sure what the mood is. panic. anger. defensiveness. real tension.

for some reason i find jungle works quite well right now. the dissensus jungle poll has come at the right time.
