We all love Fanta, of course, but what about Fantano? And why is it that millions will watch a nerdy critic pontificate about a record but will refuse to read a nerdy critic pontificate about a record?

Basically I'm asking if I should start doing YouTube videos, wearing funny wigs and shit like that cos I'm sick of my real job but nobody gives a fuck about my writing.

He figured out youtube was a good platform for this stuff (there were hundreds of record reviewer kids out there), outpoured the constant content in as many variables as possible while always paying attention to what had drawing viewers based on their trending/peak listenership. He's not good at his job from a writerly standpoint, but he's easier to engage with than text.
