I'm in some pain right now with a wisdom tooth that is crumbling and a swollen gum. Went down the dentist and registered, that was 25 notes straight off the bat, now they tell me i need two fillings, the tooth removed, probably at hospital at the earliest september. So I'm like have you got anything for the pain cos I dont fancy spending the next six months with tooth ache. Apparently ant-biotics will take this pain away, I was hoping for soemthing a bit more immediate, ya get me.
My question is, I was told it will be 40 quid for the fillings on NHS and god knows how much for the tooth, the woman told me this after she said are you private or nhs. So what do you get if your private, a cup of tea and some extra pain releif. You pay for your prescription and treatment so what is NHS about going to the dentist ?
