smitfraud virus

i've got a virus on my pc called 'smitfraud'; it makes desktop go blue with an error message in the middle. it puts links to explicit websites on my desk top, and more seriously, it's fucked up internet explorer so i can't get on to yahoo to check my e-mail.

norton antivirus doesn't even say i've got a virus: does anybody know any software that can detect it and get rid of it?

i cant believe you dont use the firefox browser...

check ou thier webpage ... oh uhh you cant... how are you reading this? :confused:
i cant understand how i used the internet before i could have multiple pages open in tabs and i'm completely addicted to the ad blocking plugin.

good luck getting rid of the virus, sorry i dont have anything more helpful :)

go into safe mode, search for the app, disable it if it is a running programme and delete the fuckker i reckon.

norton anti virus is a pile of computer wrecking shit btw, it won't find viruses but will fuck with your computer, it is a big virus really.
