my top three audio innovations from berlin superbooth 2019.

all made by small teams or just an individual.

soma pulsar 23 drum machine (waiting list is now over 1k people!!!)

udo super 6. (why anyone hasn’t done this before i don’t know.. poly synth with complex reverb at every stage including the oscillator, i.e. not just the end - listen with headphones!)

synthstrom deluge (it’s a few years old now but every year they release a major update, last year it was multi-sampling and waveform editor, this year it’s a cv/midi/audio input looper)

Behringer seem to be defying all preconceptions and doing really highly regarded affordable analog replicas, everyones getting excited over CS-80 Vangelis synth they're working on.. havent had the chance to hear any of them but nice to see that gear getting reasonably priced again not pushing any boundries though.

My GAS is out of date. I still want my first Poly and would go for a DSI Poly Evolver. Just a solid digital/analog poly would do me.
