Covers REALLY ruined by adverts!

It's usually the Brazilian LP's that have the adverts, no? Most of my american stuff is underground but I never noticed any ads except on a brazilian lp I have.

And what of Sigue Sigue Sputnik with their actual audio adverts for hair gel and style magazines in between the tracks of their LP?

I used to be in an atrocious 'punk' band and we did actually entertain the idea of getting various small businesses in Luton, like fried chicken shops, to give us money to fund the recording and pressing of a 7", in exchange for ad space on the back cover. Thankfully the 7" idea expired, along with our enthusiasm, but I think it'd be great - a load of noise and swearing and shouting and "Kangol Kebabs TEL +44 (0)1582 609004 - WE NOW USE REAL ONIONS" on the back.
