CM Junkie
No i did the 200+years just in the normal career mode with a two welsh sides and two english sides.I began at caersws fc and within two seasons had Marco Simone from AC Milan and Stefan Effenberg from Bayer Muncich then after winning the uefa cup with them 8times with the likes of Ronaldo,Rivaldo,Boban and Di canio,Beckham,Giggs,Zola,Zidane,Figo and Denihlson and Romario then in neerly in my 60th season i accepted an offer and went to Bristol city in the english Division one,i took them to the top of the premier league in less than four seasons by buying all my players from the preavius team imagine having a uefa cup winning side in the english division one. After well over 100years at the helme of the best club in europe and smashing records by spending over £500Million a season on players making sure i had the best team of elite stars in the world,I made a shock depatrue to Chelsea and took the challenge of trying to take lead against the mighty Bristol city,This was proberly my biggest gaming challenge id ever set myself and after 40years and well over £50thousandMillion i just clinched the title in my second to last season with the club and after winning the treble i decided to leave and join an unlikey partner in Newtown Fc wich would be at the bottom of the Welsh league and with out a Goalkeeper and in more than £1million debt mounting up over the years with all there player either on £50-£75 or playing for £0 or on loan it took a little bit of dodgey dealing and clever tactitcs to win back the league in the year 2195 and i have been at the top ever since and making money by playing the likes of Milan in the European cup semi-final and since then on iv ben there ever since with my very well respected manegment record wich bounds over 175 league titles and more than 500 cups and trophies.
Ill give you some quick CM tips.
Keep your squad small but make sure you have back-up in every position, keeping your squad small will make the wagebill smaller.
Make sure you have a good mix of Youth and experiance useually i have a a mid aged keeper about 27-30 and a well experianced one aged around 31-39.Useually i have at least 2 defenders over the age of 35 wich are useually well experianced with lots of international caps and then all the rest mid aged and then maby 2 or 3 youths.Midfielders for me is weird becouse i really like to experiment with the style between games, sometimes i will play 4 across the middle and they will be all over the age of 30 and have alot of international goals and capps,or sometimes play 5 in the middle all under 21 useually around 17,18,19 and then upfront i useually play middleaged players for the firsts 75minutes and then bring on maby a 40year old and a 39 year old just spice things up a little bit providing were winning like.
Allways check the transfers option and look at the player who have been released, you can useually find some fantastic players this way but if they are reluctant to come to the club or demand a higher wage offer them a trial for 2weeks to 4weeks never offer them a 1week trial as if they do accept you wont have much of a chance to see how they play as they are allowed to play in the reserves.
This is my biggest tip im sure how i can explain it but i think youll just have to try it.What you do is if you see a good player who is not contracted to a club offer them a contract and if they dont accept it offer them a trial and if they accept the trial but the wage is to high give them a massive singing on fee and the highest wage possible but offer them a monthly contract, this is very dodgey but it useually works evan if they only play for one month there services will be valuble but if they want to stay at the club offer them exaclty what they want useually its some thing between a 1to 3year deal but make sure there release fee is really high.
