the best post-Bangs punk-rock writer that ever was! Great retardo-intellectual spew of thought prose and the wildest taste out. Pure and simple. I miss FE, and the occasional jizzms in Arfur and Wyer aren't enuff. I saw some neat Internerd-Vids of the man at the Ecsatatic Peace site which weren't too bad.

Why he never wrote a book on rock or schizo-folk or spuzz-reck or whatever beats me. I mean compared to some of the *TERRIBLE* wrock books out there, it's a crime.

One of the few truly true tastemakers in the US of A gulcha. I'd put him and J. Hoberman at the top.

The rest know what they can do.

GET FUCKED! (with each other)

the best things were the footnotes in Forced Exposure, often taking up more space then the actual interviews. I particularly remember the interview with Chris Knox.

Forced Exposure mag was great. Intro'd me to so much stuff.

He was meant to be writing a book about underground cartoonist Rory Hayes. Dunno what happened to it.
