does anyone have a handle on what pirates have an internet stream?

this might be useful for the international crew.

rinse do, i think. and On top as well sometimes i think but i'm not sure about that. there's also internet-only grime stations, that are getting bigger- blaze-live.fm is probably the biggest at the moment.

i'm sure internet radio is going to get bigger and bigger- i can't see people still absailing down tower blocks to put pirate transmitters into place in 5-10 years time when they could just set up an internet station instead.

all i need then is to work out how to tape shows off the internet...

if by any chance you use a mac there is a great app called audio hijack which will record the audio output of any other application as an mp3 or aiff file - don't know if available for pc but there must be some equivalent

rinse ostensibly has an internet stream but its almost never working (although nandi from the station has assured me they're fixing it up soon).

thanks for the help guys. it's not easy keeping up with things from over here.

i found this site. http://scanner.irational.org/cgi-bin/pirates/listing.pl
can't remember where - might have been on simon sd's blog - but it's a list of pirates with streams. i'm not sure how up to date it is.

Ach!

The scanner.irrational site doesn't just list the pirates around that are streaming, it also allows you to listen to any of the stations it has listed - it's like a virtual FM radio on the net. Just click on "Listen" on the main page ( http://scanner.irational.org/cgi-bin/pirates/listing.pl ), choose the station you want from the drop-down menu, then click "Live Broadcast", irrespective of whether the actual station hosts it's own stream. The explanation of how it works is here : http://scanner.irational.org/tech.html
The list itself is pretty up to date too, and yes, Raw Blaze is on it.

RAW BLAZE?! BACK?!!

i can't tell you how happy i am...
did anyone see that thing on chantelle fiddy's blog the other day where diesel said that raw blaze was back up and running? didn't believe it at the time, but it's good to be proved wrong...

There have now been reports from Luka and myself concerning sightings of the elusive 'Raw Blaze'. Early reports suggest a weakened signal which is thought to improve over the coming days...

this link from simon's page is slightly useful -- http://www.dj-sl.co.uk/

i havn't checked the streaming links..

Shine 87.9 http://shine.servemp3.com/
Passion 91.8 http://66.79.166.72:8000/listen.pls
Rude Awakening 104.2 http://www.flexfm.net/stream/rawflexlive.asx <http://www.ruudawakening.com/>

and if anyone know's who's broadcasting over the top of resonance 104.4 fm in north east london (not every night, but enough to be annoying), do me a favour and tear their aerial down. thanks.

argh i was so hyped about this last night, finally i thought that i could listen to something outside of clicking that dead rinse link, but unfortunately, every station i tried through scanner.irrational.org started and then cut out after about 2 secs, couldnt get a consistent stream. maybe it will be better tonight, but has anyone else experience this?
