1) she believes an interst in gangsta rap makes her dangerous (a belief shared by resin befuddeled ratboys hanging about outside the shops-the're wrong too.)
2) she recons blond haired people are genetically "weaker" cos they get hayfever.
3) she crimps her hair-her aesthetic hasn't progessed since 1983.
4) have you heard her "jazz direction" records- Beirut Slump etc.
5) she does perfomance poetry.
BUT
Orphans is one of the greatest bits of music of the 20th C
superb snotty bratpunk with treble to pierce the most waxridden ears!
sometimes it's all about the contradictions.
