Its that stick your neck out time!

Wanted to say how much I love this track.

Whenever I hear it, in the petrol station or in the supermarket it gets me.

Indeed - it's fantastic. Produced by Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley.

The Coral have put out a handful of really strong singles, I think, but I've stopped short of buying any of their albums. I see the singer as part of that group of crackly UK male vocalists like Steve Winwood. You can hear the blood vessels bulging in his forehead.

- aha - so that's why the drums are so loud and repetitive! Why aren't those two working on their next album? I have to say it's a bit too trad Kinks/Mungo Jerry for me despite the pseudo-exotica of the steel drums.

Apropos of nothing much other than cool mainstream pop - what about that Ashanti tune with nothing much other than the heavy distorted synth/string riff? A bit like a goth response to Usher's Yeah - Barrow & Utley might have produced it.

I really like the Coral too - there's something extremely un-modern about them in a unconciously done way

jesus! i'm tempted to say the thrills > the coral. that bad.

Pfff!

I've actually heard a Thrills album and they've never done anything as entertaining as the 3 or 4 good Coral singles.
