I just saw a clip of this vintage animation from 1918 on the telly - brilliant

by the same artist who did the awesome ur-psychedelic 'adventures of a rarebit fiend' & 'little nemo in slumberland' comix back in the day as well as some way early animation - like 'gertie the dinosaur'

please,
can anyone help find me an mpg - it's only 12 minutes long & it should surely be out of copyright now?
the best i have come up with so far is The Library of Congress which has some other McCay wierdness as well as some nice Krazy Kat toons

i saw this too on the andrew dixon doohdah programme about drawing - quite fascinating.

wouldn't know where to start finding an mpeg of it though, sorry sufi.

did you see the surgeon who drew diagrams of his operations in the blood of his patients? absolutely lovely weight of line.
