As i tap away at my thesis, i've taken to browsing the http://www.live365.com lot of netradio stations. in amoungst some modern classical (background music..), a track came on which made me stop, sit attentively and listen. The 'song' basically consisted of a live "loop" played on a lazy bass and a long droney herdigurdey or perhaps accordian.. my crappy laptop speakers & lack of knowledge hinder the identification of the instrument.. over the top of which a strange narritive spills forth in a thick brogue about a local folk legend.. the burryman.. while various other people in the room egg the storyteller on.

anyone know anything about the creator of this amazing music? theres some samples up here

http://www.suilvenrecordings.com/shop.htm

and some information can be found on the main site..

i enjoyed this music a lot and it was really lovely to have it break up my day.
