Any fans of this legendary 'underground' Japanese atomic-psych-rock band out there?

Just curious. Then I'll add more info..

Cheers

Sorry, what are the ILM posts?

Yeah they actually only have about 5 songs repeated over and again in different formats, but it's interesting how cult music evolves with mutations of the same. With the Rallizes it's their ultra murky intense psychadelic Velvet-Underground extremis rock, but it's interesting to note they were doing the 'White nise guitar' more intensely, and more rockistly than the Jeseus and Mary chain 'Psycho-Candy' were.

Also their murky Marxist politics and extreme-volume aesthetic is pretty neat.

If I can recommend 2 that are all you need (and if you can't get past them, you never will):

Live '77
&
Heavier than a Death in the Family (esp track 'people can choose')

These two discs are primo distorto-psycho examples of their shtick. Imagine White Light/White Heat era Velvets meets early Jesus and Mary chain or MBV recorded live on a shitty tape recorder with feedback so intense you might get hearing problems FROM A TAPE RECORDING! seriously some fo the feeback moments vibrated the jelly in my brain!
