Military Madness - Video

OK - so I thought I was immune to it by now. Necrotised by the many horrible and appalling stories and pictures from Iraq over the last few years.

I guess I was wrong:

Its a 'trophy' video shot by British security contracters (mercenaries), and shows random acts of murder carried out for entertainments sake. Its not gory at all - but its one of the most repulsive things I have ever seen... and apparantly, GI's from all over the States are coming home with similar video's - this may be only the tip of the iceberg...

WTF are these guys on?

More madnesss - but of a different variety:

This could be an outtake from Brass Eye... Its so ridiculous that Im still not sure its real...

Is this how the UK prepares its troops for war? If this is what they do to each other - then what the hell are they doing to the Iraqis they are supposedly liberating?

I don't buy your interpretation. Looks more like random acts of not wanting to be blown the fuck up by suicide bombers approaching rapidly from behind in civilian cars. Not nice, but I imagine the daily possibility of being blown into screaming cinders at any moment does funny things to your moral standards.

Really? In the first section, It looked to me like they were shooting into the opposite lane of traffic, at cars driving away from them in the other direction. Plus theres that wild, random spraying of machine gun fire.

Theres also the fact that (AFAIK) there are no reports of suicide bombers attacking other cars from behind at high speed. Thats usually done with roadside bombs, or stationary cars detonated remotely. And surely if they had been in fear for their lives from pursing suicide bombers, they wouldnt have had time to film it?

Also - if this really was a do or die situation - why on earth did they edit it, put some theme music over it and put it up on their website?

None of it adds up - and theyre now under investigation by the MOD and 'Aegis' - the firm that contracted them out - under suspicion of shooting Iraqi civilians:
