just curious, whats a "special chicago set".

in the Music forum is a discussion on Chicago house. Im here, and wondering what someone over there means when referring to a chicago set.

it was ok - i enjoyed myself and got people dancing before a guy called freeform killed it with some idm, mouse on mars were only ok - playing back tracks vey fast and dropping edits and effects on them
the sound was a bit bouncy and the crowd was very fashionable and not particulary bothered it seems.
It was an ex gentlemans club that had been stripped out, i'd like to use it for something next year i think.

.

I had to laugh as it was quoted as being 'achingly hip' in the Guardian guide. That kind of put me off although i was pretty keen to hear Exile.

Ended up at the Destructive party which was ruff.
