Usher!

Beast of Burden
Usher cleaned up this year! Came of age!

Who produced slow jamz to compare?

Only, by my reckoning, Jagged Edge (the sublime and unbeaten, other than by Usher, 'Walked Outta Heaven') and Kanye West (uh, 'Slow Jamz')...

Plus, he's the best dancer in pop. The only dancer in pop. Like, for example, JT, who sweats to pace out a precision-choreographed routine, compared to my boy

who just does a step or two, a flick of his shirt sleeve, and smashes JT and everyone competely.

That's important, you know.

It is true that no-one dances more cockily than Usher. That "pop my shirt sleeve out" move in the "Yeah!" video is awesome.

ne-yo is making our usher music now its true but usher got a better back catalouge by far, and is a better dancer. hes washed up now but that happens to everyone.

usher still doesnt have any albums as solid as timberlakes two albums though.
ne yo doesnt either to be fair, but hes got some serious songwriting chops, even if hes a bit sacchrine at times.
the dream has too many dire lyrics and poor vocal abilities to really be considered seriously, but he is a great writer/producer.
as for slow jams, yeah usher has got some good ones, but theres loads of R&B groups/artists with more/better. jodeci for one.

Do not read this.
gumdrops you need to listen to 8701, great album, although I agree with it/him not being similar to the conventional R&B around at the time, but he smashes anyone who was doing a similar thing. He also taught me that love songs don't have to be ghey.

ushers never been out of step with whats out at the time imo... hes always fitted right in. he never does anything 'different', he just comes out with good songs. i like daddys home more than anything else ive heard from him in a while.
