the new eno is pretty good, if a little polite. everything he touches recently has that same feeling for me. the conceit of the album is that "anyone can make music nowadays - the only thing left is song writing" which is patently false. in any case, eno's song writing on "another day on earth" is sometimes good but mostly pedestrian with a couple of standout tracks - "bone bomb" has no melody but it's still very touching.
