Scientists throw a rave for rats

I know, this study is such crap. Trying to draw complex behavioural comparisons between human and animal models is nonsense, imo.

I'm pretty sure that if I was locked in a cage, given drugs and exposed to 95 decibels of white noise that I'd be freaked out for a longer period of time... and although I don't have the paper in front of me I'm pretty sure that those "large doses" of MDMA were a) injected and b) many times greater than typical human recreational doses.
