PRETTY THINGS - 'Don't bring me down under' book

This book sounds fantastic. Memoirs of a B-grade Brit-Invasion band doing a tour in...New Zealand!! Has anyone read it? Any comments?

Sure there were garage rock scenes in Australia, mainly in the alley-ways of Melbourne since day one, as there were in New Zealand, well before Split Unz, The Swingers, FLying Nun and Xpressway Records..But this story sound like a hoot, and something someone will prolly make a terribly dull film about!

I'd like to but I've not read this. I know that John Baker did a hell of a lot of work for it though, including tracking down Viv Prince to the middle of nowhere (and taking Jack White with him!)
