Would this or would this not make a fantastic film? I'm convinced it would. Not least because it would look great, and there are some fantastic details, like the living accomodation being Sid Vicious' old gaff painted out in black.
Also, mainly because (and i could be wrong here) the idea of the group was a glorious failure in the grand tradition of pop scheming. Maybe they came at a time when the public were getting bored/sceptical with outrage in pop: Sex Pistols/ Punk/ Bow Wow Wow/ Frankie.

That's not a bad idea at all! But my vote would be for 'The Sisters Of Mercy - The Movie', if we're talking about painting things black.

Not sure about 'The Film' -
but did enjoy the opening number when they played the Palladium here ,
double drummers rolling it out , quiffed Neal X doing something on his guitar , credit to Tony .

But there would have to be a lot of filler in that movie

And the 'glory' ?

Tony sold you / us on the back -lit A Clockwork Orange wanna be press photo
then once you got a good look or two at Martin Degville , reality set in ...
The stocking thing helped actually !

Have that plastic Sique Sigue Transformer toy box set up inna closet,
getting a bit mashed on the corners by now

It's just the boxed edition of their Album , big Transformer -esque character on the front.
Do you remember their Album ?
