London meets Barcelona on Sonar Sunday in an underground alternative end to the weekend, featuring XL Recordings' brand new signing Various Production, along with the UK's Po-ski (Werk), Ed Devane (Touchin’ Bass), Arson residents, and a special guest appearance.
Various Production (XL) – Mysterious, UK-based collective of producers and vocalists have had many of the biggest independent labels fighting each other to sign them on the strength of a series of hard-to-find 7” and 12” releases over the last two years. Their entirely unique blend of dancehall, folk, heavy bass frequencies and traditional vocals has torn up the rulebook in 2006 – and this is Europe’s exclusive chance to check them out in a secret appearance during the Sonar Festival.
