Cinema 16 and other short film comps

Darned cockwombles.
Someone mentioned this on the Top Ten thread, and I was inspired to dig my copy of the 'British Short Films' compilation off the shelf. The Lynne Ramsay short and 'About a Girl' are both absolutely stunning, and many more of the 16 plough new and intriguing furrows.

What a splendid idea this was.

Anyone got the European or American collections?

Yep i've got them all - they are out on warpfilms now the guy that did them has been working for warp films - infact warpmart are doing 2 and 3 packs of the dvds together at reduced prices.http://www.warprecords.com/?mart=WF163PACK they are quite brillliant and i've only just touched the surface, all very different - the US one has maya derrens meshes of the afternoon on as well as loads of other stuff, all quite different stuff, like george lucas' first and tim burton's first, plus really lush anomalies like a documentary about paperboys. http://www.cinema16.co.uk/home.php

other shit i've been getting into have been the really good reissues on cronenburg's first 2 shorts (really good) and the atrocity exhibition on the reel23 imprint. http://www.reel23.com/
plus the optimum reissues of dust devils, la haine etc, http://www.optimumreleasing.com/ still got to watch the techno dvd ON plexi film http://www.plexifilm.com/
