Has anybody else noticed that Nine Ince Nails "Down is it" is a direct rip-off of Skinny Puppy's "Dig It", which in turn is a direct rip-off of Herbie Hanckock's "RockIt".

Similar electro drumbeat and heavy synth orchestral stab.

Is this a coincidence or some in-joke... or should I say "It-joke", since the word "it" is in each song?????

I doubt very much if it's an accident, that Skinny Puppy guy knows his old school stuff, have you seen the Protest video?

Don't know about the Herbie Hancock bit, but I know that Trent's been upfront about the fact that dig it was his inspiration for down in it.
