ok so i got tunnel vision vol.3 yesterday though dodgy sources (lay off me for now logan.. i bought the first two..)

anyway.. i'm sorry to say it is unbelievably SWAG!!

half the album is taken up with guest slots from a woman going by the name of Caramel Brownie (what a name! surely she should be doing porn??!) and the best thing on it is dizzee over ice rink..

i properly liked the first two but i seriously don;t understand why he bothered putting this one out.. maybe it's all an elaborate joke to fool the evil downloaders like me.. i hope so:confused:

I sincerely hope not. Either Wiley's idea of what makes a commercial record is a billion years ahead of its time, or just plain wrong.

Gutted. I'll reserve judgement till i hear it, but tunnel vision I and II just cemented Wiley as the most important and most exciting grime artist on road at the minute by a mile for me. Hope he don't ruin anything.

i listened again today and it's truly waste... i'm seriously wondering whether this is all an elobrate joke on wiley's part.. i dunno, he's proper eccentric in his output.

I still can;t get over the name Caramel Brownie.. been giving me jokes all day

i think that's unlikely. after the roll deep album and treddin on thin ice it's not gonna happen again. he couldn't put out anything close to 'shake a leg' if he tried. i've got faith it's going to pretty grimey.

feel free to slew me for this but i don't think that vol3 and caramel brownie is all that bad.

if people link there are many better female mcs out there please name them.

no lay... erm... but that's not really the point.. she's all over the mixtape like a rash. just generally compared to the first two vol.3 is so weak. but i suppose if he is gonna go up to vol.10 then he's allowed a couple of flops. ;)

i just think there needs to be a platform for new female talent to come through. the crew orientated thing never seems to work for female mcs so this is a welcome little showcase.

no lay's great as are lady destiny, shystie etc but i just think that in comparison, brownie ain't all that bad. she doesn't ruin it for me. i don't like it as much as the previous 2 volumes but how does wiley present someting diverse and interesting enough to keep the listeners' attention span for ten 20track+ mixtapes? for me this one is a refreshing, albeit not mindblowing, attempt at keeping it fresh.

i mean, i think everyone knows that after volume ten one will be able to edit down all the outstanding tracks into one fucking amazing disc. then.... the album. i'm curious what he' got planned for this and if it will actually better than the 'best of tunnel vision' or indeed the 2nd phaze.

i think wileys steadily falling off, esp with his recorded material (12s, mixtapes). hes becoming more boring, flow is becoming stiffer and more leaden or erratic, the content is duller, more whining than before. i fear for anyone collecting all ten volumes of tunnel vision. not even sure if he is what he was as a producer either, but ill save judgement until i hear the mix CDs again.
