So, is the widely touted view that the Democrats may now gain a majority in the Senate accurate? And how much real influence over policy would they have if this is case?
There's also a theory that it's better for them not to have control over the senate because then they're open to attack over the next couple of years for whatever problems that can be pinned on them by the Republicans, costing them victory in 2008.
And they're a bunch of wet liberals right? Just as under the thumb of big business as the Republicans.
Maybe an American Dissentian can shed a little light on this for me.
