PRESS RELEASE: Boston-area group HEAD TURNERS involved in neat fatal car accident

HEAD TURNERS

New member
I regret to inform you that Boston-area rap group Head Turners were involved in a serious car accident in Salinas, Utah on October 21st.

Head Turners, best known for their "Boston Fire" & "Flow & Hustle" mixtapes, (of which 50,000+ copies were collectively distributed), were driving to San Diego to finish recording their debut album, "Black El & Max Powers", and increase their West coast presence.

Driving off the road and into a ditch at high speeds, the car flipped several times and both Black El and Max Powers were ejected from the vehicle.

El suffers the worst of the injuries. He broke 3 ribs, 3 vertebrae, his wrist, his clavicle, punctured his lung, bruised a kidney, and got 12 staples & 4 stitches in the back of his head. He was airlifted to Provo, where he was in a coma for 36 hours but came out swinging. He has been recovering faster than anyone expected and was recently released from the hospital. He is now back in Boston, resting and writing.

Max Powers broke his ankle and 4 vertebrae. Discharged the next evening, he is currently recuperating in Los Angeles.

HT associate Grimey Bruce, the only one in the vehicle smart enough to wear a seat belt, was initially discharged from the hospital with no injuries, but 5 days later found out he had a fractured knee.

Deniro, Powers' pug, broke his hip and is the only one with permanent injuries. (He wont be able to do stairs).

All in all, the boys are beyond blessed. As torn and bruised as they may be, they are working on a speedy recovery and will be back in the studio and on the road before you know it. Everyone is alive and no one (except Deniro) has permanent injuries.

Head Turners' debut album, "Black El & Max Powers", is slated for release this summer. Their street album will be out in January.

*On a side note, for your own sake, please do not take anything in this life for granted. These things can disappear in the blink of an eye, as Head Turners almost found out the hard way. Live every day like you mean it.

AND BUCKLE UP!
