Is this US ebay?

This policy doesn't seem to affect ebay.co.uk, yet.

I've just started selling stuff on there again after an absence and was really annoyed to find you now can't sell music or video on recordable media at all, legit or not.

oh no. i do that all the time. in fact, i think i found you that way one time ;)

Does that mean they're only targeting particularly nosy browsers? ;)

I think it might be to do with certain types of items.

in the U.S. ebay, sellers have always had the option of making a "private auction." anything designer-label i've ever bought on ebay is on a private auction basis. don't know if this is the same issue...

ok as if to redeem myself ever so slightly fir the embarassment that is is this thread....

i noticed on closed auctions you can still see the buyer if you:

"watch the auction">go to "My eBay" > Watched items.

As if you woz interested. Strange loop hole though....
