I just dont know
has anyone seen this yet? i went to see it last night, and quite enjoyed it. nothing ground-breaking, and a couple of weak links in the plot, but very interesting stylistically... excellent execution, and a stunning performance from the lead. a triumph in sustained minimalism. also, wonderful use and choice of music.

anyone else seen it and have any thoughts?

Great film, without being formally ground-breaking. Reminded me of Melville's Le Cercle Rouge (1970) (and Hanake's Cache a little) insofar as the direction is of a piece, and as focussed, cool and implacable, as the protagonists' resolve and the way the plot tightens like a vice...
