After their hugely successful Christmas bash to celebrate their ‘Top Five Blog in Europe’ accolade - presented to them by the folks at BT - Styleslut returns to 93 Feet East for a Valentines party to end all parties. Already described by Time Out as being ‘A party and then some’ this event is not to be missed. ‘Valentine Breeds Hate’ on Saturday the 10th of February will feature an exclusive live set from the grime man of the moment and Boy Better Know member JME! They’ll also be an explosive live performance from the I-D Magazine featured, all-girl ghetto fabulous bling- pop group, The Real Heat.
The kings of mixtape- eclecticism, The Teens Of Thailand, Team Mega Mix and Silverlink – one of Dazed and Confused magazines ‘One To Watch for 07’ - will be spinning an orgy of punk, hip-hop, pop, electro, rave, indie and anything else with a dope beat, alongside Germanys answer to the Queens Of Noize - if The Queens had been slapped over the head with a tonne of Grime mixtapes and forced to wear platinum grillz that is – The Sick Girls.
The purveyors of up-front booty bass, The Seven Year Glitch Crew and Blaise of Troubled Minds fame, will also be heating up this valentines bash with their choice selection of speaker-crunching beats alongside the style savvy Coconut Twins from Super Super magazine, K- Tron from the magical clubland of ‘All You Can Eat’ and one half of Cassette Pets - Taylor from Disorder Magazine .
Visuals on the night will be provided by Thomas Manaton of Cassette Playa fame.
Arrive early to ensure entry and to avoid looking like a spazz and stuff.
