Gilbert and George

....so I did get an invite to the Gilbert and George opening, without trying or asking, which was nice. The exhibition is great, it's a whole floor. I was kinda hoping that they would have transformed the Turbine Hall with all their work - y'know, proper stained glass style - and there wouldn't be any wine and just stark bright light and G&G would make their entrance by sliding down the slides in the Hall going 'Weeeeeeeeh!' and then just run to the top of the slides and do that all night.

But they didn't. It was all very corporate. I saw Nick Rhodes and Graham Norton and Melvyn Bragg. The early stuff is genius actually seeing it and they have a full, comprehensive postcard collection so save your money up. The book is cool as well.
