Writing on post-rock?

Where can I find good stuff on early UK post-rock, particularly Disco Inferno...?

I assume Simon has written about it..?

Yeah, Simon coined the term didn't he? I'd like to see what he wrote about it too.

I'll see what else I can find later, but Pitchfork did have this feature on it a while back.

HAPPY POST-ROCKTOBERFEST!

Found this thread and thought I'd revive it because this whole area is kind of my hobby horse and I write about it a lot.

First of all, I run a Last FM forum dedicated to this stuff. There should be a link from there to the original Simon Reynolds post-rock article.

I also used to write about UK post-rock a lot on my old blog.

Now I write about it on my new blog.

I got a particularly good reaction (81 comments!) to this post on Papa Sprain.

I've also made a series of UK post-rock compilations over the last few years, which I'm currently re-uploading to this folder.

Questions and comments are appreciated.

Nice, I'm downloading the first of your compilations now. I was too young to get into that stuff at the time and later on never got around to really check it out beyond Flying Saucer Attack, Seefeel, Amp and Third Eye Foundation.
